The North Londoner Treasure binds indie with R&B, making it sound as natural as the sunrise. 'Nothing Matters' has just landed - the first single from Treasure since his second album Suffocation & Air which came out earlier this year, supplying us with sweet mellow grooves. 'Nothing Matters' opens with electric piano with a dainty tone, followed by spacious live drums skip that skip over rhythmic guitar and bass runs that transfer a gentle lift of optimistic energy. Treasure toys with opposing emotions as he explores heartache, "the world could it end, but without you it won't feel the same...", but then concludes with the carefree line "nothing even matters" - an important reminder for us all. -Ellie Rose-Davies
